A craving for Mussels and Lobster drove us to "Uncle Pauly's Seafood Restaurant" while on our 4th of July vacation in Outer Banks, NC. The oceanside, family-owned restaurant is well-known in the Avon/Hatteras area and has a very "beach town shack" feel to it.
(This place had the best Mussels I have ever eaten in my life!)

And they were some good mussels & lobster!! The picture completely captures how ready I was for the beach after that great food!!
